Introduction to Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy & NLP Workshop.

This class is designed to give you additional skills in the advanced principles of hypnotic trance work and Neuro-Linguistic Programming techniques. These techniques allow you, in many situations, the ease of assisting a person in making gentle, rapid and comfortable adjustments necessary for their mental and physical well being.

As training and experience have taught, the client is the only one who honestly and sincerely knows what changes need to be made and the way to make those changes. The therapist is merely a facilitator or guide. Once you have access to the subconscious mind, the session moves along very smoothly and rapidly.

Once learned, these new and powerful Advanced Techniques can create a different challenge for the full time therapist. Many “long term” clients now become “short term” clients. (1 to 3 sessions are average, rather than 5 - 8) Now your marketing skills need to be sharpened to fill your appointment book. By following many of the exercises, you will now begin to increase your referrals substantially, which increases your gross income substantially. Referrals are the true measure as to how we are doing as therapists, so if you aren’t sure, look in the mirror daily and ask your self “How am I doing?” You will get an answer.

With a disbelieving attitude, a person slowly begins to UNDO the beneficial effects of the hypnosis they had just received. Similar doubts are commonly expressed by many in the early stages of hypnotic conditioning. Because the person being taught to go into hypnosis doesn’t know what hypnosis is, they wonder what reactions to expect and since they often have vague, pre-conceived and often false ideas of what they believe it should be, they often look for an extreme effect to prove they were in hypnosis. (Convincers are important)

Strong doubts about hypnosis, besides undoing the therapeutic effects of hypnosis, can cancel them out completely. Even when a person receives the great benefits, he/she is often unaware they have been received and are being acted upon subconsciously.

It is the duty and obligation of every competent therapist to clear up and alleviate any and all myths and misconceptions concerning hypnosis. It is imperative that the public become more knowledgeable about the power of Their Mind and how to use it.
