1. Find a quiet location where you will not be disturbed.
2. Put yourself into a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down.
3. Raise your right arm alongside your body; close your eyes, saying softly to yourself: "I am going into hypnosis."
4. Count slowly from 5 down to 1. when you reach the number 1, let your arm fall loosely and limply beside you. (as learned in the program)
5. You can now deepen your trance state by using the staircase method: and counting down the stairs from 10 down to 1, imagining yourself descending the stairs. (don't worry if you can't "see" the stairs to start with, just pretend or imagine, you will get better with practice). Now that you are in deep hypnosis, you can start with your power programming by reinforcing your afflrmations; remembering to use your key words.
6. To end your Self Hypnosis session, say to yourself, " At the count of 5, I am fully aware and awake, feellng great" (or any positive word that suits you). Counting from "1 up to 5 and eyes wide open." When practicing at bedtime, You may give yourself the choice to either return to normal awareness or drift into a natural sleep state. Always give yourself choices.
Practice going into trance 1 minute at a time. At the end of 1 week you can be up to the 10 minute mark. After achieving the 10 minute mark, use your Self-Hypnosis for 10 minutes, twice a day, with your affirmations and key words, and you can be, do have everything you want.
